It's a Good Friday

My dear Grandmother's hands. They have worked hard and loved gently.
update:
I want this post to linger a bit...my grandmother is living her last days, perhaps hours. This month marks her 90th year. It's time for here to meet her Savior. It will be glorious. She has been a precious gift in my life.

Plan ahead- Christmas Layout Idea

While "shopping" over coffee this morning, I saw this layout and it gave me an idea...

This would be a great way to scrap the gift tags from your Christmas packages. I have always thought the gift tags were charming and hated to throw them out. And often, they contain sentiment. (or homemade art)

you could lay them out and scan them or carefully photograph them, or go hybrid and use the real thing.

Capturing the year's gift wrap would be great for posterity too.

These are the containers in my front yard. Already they are more lush. This week's heat should give them a growth spurt.
